There are many webrings devoted to Japan related sites. Some better than others. Most specialize in a sub-genre of Japan such as fashion, travel, language, etc. as "Japan" itself is too broad a topic for one ring although some try.

There are few actual webring administration websites. You may not need to venture beyond the most popular WebRing which is a large collection of rings on every subject imaginable including over 400 Japan-related. Below are a few of my favorite selections from this site.

There is no cost to join any of these rings. In trade for membership a bit of HTML or Java code must be placed on your site which displays a banner for the ring you are a member of. This is the essence of the ring community and the means by which visitors are shared across a number of related websites.

One of the greatest benefits I have found of being a member of any webring community is getting to know your neighbors and sharing text links or exchanging banners. Contact other members of your ring by email. Chances are good they will be open to these ideas.
